Victorian Gold is a great color. These petite beads add a nice sparkle on my x-stitch. Love the different sizes in beads that Mill Hill offers it’s buyer’s.

I love combining these with other colours. Instead of using a beading needle, I use a 28 cross stitch needle which slide through quite nicely.

These beads are very pretty. I had no trouble with them fitting on the beading needle I used, one that came with a Mill Hill ornament kit. The eye of the needle is small, you can't use a normal threader with it, but I could get the floss through it after a couple of tries. An added plus, my order arrived much sooner than expected.

As pretty as these beads are, they are very very tiny, and even though I've been doing needlework for years, I could NOT figure out how to string these so they're actually useable. The beading needle I normally use is for slightly larger beads, so it was too big for these to slide over. A needle that I DID have that was slender enough for these to slide over, the eye was way too small for the floss or thread to go through without help. Normally in a case like that, I will use a threader to thread a needle with a small eye, but it just didn't fit in the tiny eye of the needle that would normally be used for these tiny beads. If there's a trick to using these, I sure don't know what it is, so for me, it was a waste of money.

There must be a special size needle with a large enough eye for threading to use with these, and this should be indicated on the listing itself and offered for purchase when you buy the beads. I purchased several boxes of these and can't use any of them as none of the needles I have fit their tiny size. Not very happy with this purchase.

Love these tiny gold beads! I'm substituting gold beads for gold metallic thread in a large cross stitch project and they're absolutely beautiful!
