I was curious to see if this worked better than a thin wire threader ( that seems to break the first or second time you use it) and it does! Very pleased so far.

I was so disappointed because the item I received appeared to be brown.. I you look very hard you could see a light swipe of lavender but it wasn't noticeable unless in bright light. I've considered trying again with a second order but not sure I want to take the chance.

It's hard to pull back through the needle with the thread and the wire gets bent out of shape easily but it threads the needle. I haven't broken it yet !

It is smaller than it looks but works just great. I use it for some of my cross stitch but not all. I do worry about losing it. I've only had it a few weeks but it seems sturdy enough.

I like this threader, though I don't use it for most of my cross stitch threads as I find traditional wire threaders are rough on anything not big brand, like DMC, threads. It takes a bit of tugging to get the threader back through the eye of the needle, and speciality threads are likely to break, or thin. I do wish this pretty threader had a loop at the top so I could attach it to my scissors. I keep misplacing it, or it falls between the cushions on the couch.

These cute little needle threaders worked great with my size 24 tapestry needle, especially when I had an extra thread of filament.
