This blending thread works much easier than some other types I've used in the past. I found a needle threader helped a lot and also dampening the blended threads as I worked kept everything in place on my needle.

I liked the effect this thread provided when used with a thread of floss. However, it separated very easily leaving tiny threads. It didn’t seem to matter what length I used but, in the future, I will try using it with a larger needle to see if that helps.

The pluses for using this as a blending filament for me areReasonable costGood amount of product for the priceEase of UseBeautiful sparkle effectThe only caveat is that once in a great while the metallic unravels when too long a length is used and the friction with other fibers gets too much for it to hold up. This is easily solved with shorter lengths and using a larger needle to decrease resulting friction. I have used this material a lot and love it!

The pluses for using this as a blending filament for me are 1Reasonable cost 2 Good amount of product for the price 3 Ease of use 4 Beautiful sparkle effect. The only caveat is that once in a great while the metallic unravels when too long a length is used and the friction with other fibers gets too much for it to hold up. This is easily solved with shorter lengths and using a larger needle to decrease resulting friction. I have used this material a lot and love it!

Great product! While it does tend to fray it isn't as bad as other products. Using a shorter strand minimizes the fraying also.
