Good day yesterday. I did stitch a fair bit, soup is made ...for lunch again today. I practiced darts for an hour ...and threw a 171 ...woot, woot. I have only done that once before. And the elections last night for Tuesday night darts ..went smoothly and quickly. A good day. It did rain on the way home.

And it continues to rain today ...so no plans to work outside. I will go out ... just to Washago ...I bought two castor bean plants and I can pick them up today.

I have another lazy day ...doing much the same as any other lazy day. I think I will boil a dozen or so eggs and do pickled eggs. David has the ice maker working ...he will bring ice on Sunday when he leaves for fishing ... not sure he realizes that we don't have a ton of room as to where to put it. But I will finagle and it will work.

Supper? Who knows.

I forgot

...so gas prices up again. I'm thinking that soon people will simply quit their jobs ... half of their income is going to gas to go to and from work. It's not good.

Cool here and overcast. I did treat the dogs next door but they were right on the steps so I did not have to go out much, still felt cool.

Aleida, saw your darts expertise yesterday. Wow!

If I were really brave, I could have gotten up at 5 and gone for a walk. Without a dog or someone else with me, I am just not that brave. And the dogs next door are hard to pat, never mind trying to put a harness and leash on either one.

Yesterday was another okay day but I was so sleepy in the afternoon and DH finally told me to take a nap. I slept for 2 hours!!! That is so unlike me. I did tell the doctor yesterday morning that I was always feeling tired and I think my BP is going too low but he wants to wait until I get some more tests done and those are not getting there fast. Will have to call again and see where my reqs. are at. Oh, cannot call, I have to go there as they no longer answer the phone. Good thing I know the booking clerk.

Anyway, not much done yesterday except a couple of loads of laundry, a brownie, guitar practice and a bit of knitting. Guitar practice was quick, only once through my pieces and about 5 minutes of warm-up. Those warm-ups are really helping my hands.

Today, breakfast is done but will be hitting the shower in a few here. Have to wait for DS to finish running whatever water he needs for breakfast. I suppose I can just sit here at the computer and play solitaire.

Grey and rainy and windy and cool and I am not motivated to do anything 😄. I have a couple bits of housework that need doing and a couple phone calls I need to make, so I really should get at those. Because then I could choose to settle in to stitching for the rest of the day. Which I think, is not a bad way to spend a rainy day. 😁
Had my regular bloodwork done a week or two ago and saw my dr yesterday for followup. Bunch of medication adjustments because numbers are not where they need to be. ☹️ Nothing drastic, but I'd rather take fewer pills than more, so..... not really the news I wanted to hear. But, what can you do? I can do all the things within my control in relation to exercise, nutrition etc, and then I just have to take what I need to take.
But, had another stitchy finish this week, so am happy about that. Had more WIPs on the go than I was comfortable with at the start of the year, so am aiming for an end goal by year's end of more finishes that starts. Certainly couldn't manage a no starts year, or the annual ornaments wouldn't get done 😂. Friends of ours had a baby yesterday, so need to break out the crochet hooks and make the new little one a lovey. I made each of his older siblings one, so he definitely has to get one too.
