Cheap $10.00 Bus fares for Some Places in the Northeast USA, such as Boston. Sounds like a good deal with gas prices being so high. You'll need to google the info.Wish they would do a cheap from Houston to Dallas or Houston to San Antonio Bus rides round trips. Possibly even Houston to Brenham for the Ice Cream factory day trip Bus specials

Took the bus a few times and was too long a ride for me. I prefer my car as I can stop and do what I want. Getting 39.5mpg with my new hybrid so cant complain. Mary

We will be going to the west coast in July. trying to find a cheap way from Long Beach to Santa Monica. uber will cost almost 100. I saw they have a flix bus. so we are talking of taking the bus to Los Angeles Union station. Then go on Metro from there. The metro will cost 1.75 each.
We are not traveling much by car with the cost of gas. So many I know are like us taking a train or going on bus tours.

They have flix bus in Canada. Never rode it but friends in Niagara falls Canada take it to Toronton and back. Mary

My nephew did all the driving when we were in California and got us to the Santa Monica pier. I gave him gas money and a big thanks. Mary

We drove one time while we were in California. And we went from there to drive to Nevada. But we do not need a car anymore. My husband and I just want to get from one place to the other. Now we are thinking of just taking the metro all the way to Santa Monica. Our hotel we always stay at is a block from the famous pier. and the well known BVLD is right behind the hotel. Our good friend is taking the metro down to see us and not driving. I am not sure where the parking is for this hotel. No where near it I know. This is our third time there so I know no hotel parking by it.

We had my nephews 3 girls with us so renting a roomy suv worked best for us and we got a great deal on it. Mary

I am not renting a car to drive from Long Beach to Santa Monica. And most you have to have for one day anyway The flix bus is out of California. I don't care if there is one in Canada. I wasn't talking of that area.
