I Googled Davia Elliott, Troutdale Oregon. I did find a different address. I also asked for obituraries in Troutdale and just Oregon, no city.

She was hoping to move to an apartment on the lower floor the stairs were getting too much.
She also mentioned the costs.
Pat her sister had health issues.
Maybe the manager of the apartment complex may know.

I checked the obituaries today,she is not in them.Her addy was Troutdale,at one point she had lived in Gresham,before that,when she lived in Gresham she was right across the street from my gd.She will be 81 in Dec.
When i first got on the computer back in 1999,she was a big help to me,taught me a lot that i didn't know about them and was always available when i had questions as we are in the same time zone,and just down the coast from each other.

I assumed it was because the ZIP code for that address changed from 5 digits to 9. (Added 4492 to the end.)

Pinwheel ~ Adding the last four to a Zip Code doesn't matter. They deliver it either way. So I wouldn't waste the postage.
Kathi, the address I found in Gresham is on Spruce St, or 11th Ave. Is either or those her old address when she lived across from your relative?

It seems she would have asked to PO to forward her mail to a new address IF she was interested in maintaining contact.
I know she had several friends here and people have been very kind and generous with her. This would apply no matter where she moved to.

Gabby,i don't remember the Gresham addy.I don't think her sister(Patricia) lived with her in Gresham,think,she moved in when she moved over to Troutdale.
At any rate,i hope they're ok.All we can do is say a prayer for them.
I personally think they may have moved out of the apartments,otherwise,why would so many of our mail pieces come back to us.I just hope they aren't homeless.I wouldn't wish that on anyone,but with the world we live in today,it's possible.Not a good thought i know,just reality..

If you change your address mail fowarding is for 12 months then you can pay for an extension if need be. Mary

I just googled Davia Elliot Oregon and an address in Portland came up. Also the past addresses (Troutsdale, Gresham) were listed for this person. Her BD is listed as December 1945.
Don't know if this is Dee, but it's possible.
I hope she is OK.

Possibility she no longer has a working computer to communicate.
Usually the post office will stamp a piece of mail as to the reason it wasnt delivered with the reason it was being returned checked off, ie. No forwarding address, no known address, incorrect postage, etc.
