Ask them for ideas,that's what i do,i actually ask them to pick out something and send me the link.Makes life so much easier.They get what they want,and i don't have to stress about it.Everyone is happy,i do send a card seperately though.

When my son and grandson were that age cash was their favorite thing. They could spend it however they wanted.

When my nephews were that age, they liked nothing better than a box of snacks. I would go to Dollar Tree or Walmart, get a plastic storage bin they might use later, and fill it with snack-size chips, flavored popcorn, maybe a 2-liter of their favorite soda, candy bars, trail mix, granola bars, and maybe throw in a gift card so they can buy whatever else they want.
