from United States on 12/28/2019 - Love Petite SizeGold Wore Off I stitch much faster with these needles and waste less thread. You can stitch more with each strand, because the shorter needle means you can end with very little thread left. On the downside, Ive been using one needle for about two weeks, and the gold has disappeared. I used these needles years ago, and the quality was much higher. Im going to just order the petites without the gold plating next time.

The gold plating makes them slide so much more smoothly and the petite size is much more convenient and easier to use on linen. I now feel like I have a sword in my hand if I for some reason have to revert to a "regular" tapestry needle. Thank you so much for having them. I can't find them here in Nashville, Tn
from United States on 05/15/2015 - Short Needles AKA Petite If you say that I am petite, I will like you...Short? Not so much! Love these because I can squeeze two more stitches out with b a smaller length needle, the same diameter as a regular 26.

from United States on 09/17/2013 - Best needles to date I'm not a needle snob, I've been using the same needles for so many years I can't count. Most of the plating has worn off so it was time to get new ones. First time ordering petites - while it took awhile to get used to the feel of such a short needle, I love them. It seems my thread gets tangled less because I'm twisting the needle less due to the shortness. I do need to use a needle threader to thread them though, but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I just ordered the 28's, I've heard you can use those for beading, I'm hoping this is true. Regardless I'm sure I'll use them for regular stitching.
