While this is adorable. The magnet isn't great. I like it but nothing special.

on 12/07/2015 - Magnet Not the Strongest, but cute.
Magnet is not the strongest and doesn't hold needles quite as well as many other needle minders I use. However, it is cute as ever!

on 11/25/2015 - Really useful
I orderd this because I wanted a small decorative needle magnet to use with a new needle book I was making. This filled the bill perfectly! It's pretty, it fits the needle book in just the right way, and it holds the needle securely even inside a carry bag. As other reviewers have noted, it's a button glued to a pair of small, powerful magnets. The one I bought is quite securely glued, and that fact that it's a repurposed button adds to its charm for me I think it's definitely in the spirit of crafting to take something pretty and find a new use for it. I've bought a second one as a gift for a friend who also loves repurposed items.

on 02/20/2015 - Gold Quilt Cat Needle Magner
This was very cute, but was broken almost as soon as I got it. Maybe broken is not the correct word to use - unglued probably works better. I used this for less than three days before the cat had fallen off the magnet. This was actually a button just glued onto a small stack of magnets. I could easily re-glue this, but feel that the quality should have not made this necessary.

on 09/10/2014 - Good needle catcher
The picture looks a little different than what I received which was a cat button glued to a magnet. There are two button holes that appear to be airbrushed out of this photo. The item catches my needles so it does the trick.
