My mother taught me to cross stitch & quilt when I was a little girl, and ever since then, I have been hooked. Time and time again I have turned to stitching to create projects to commemorate a birth or wedding, Christmas ornaments and pictures are on every wall of my house! The experience of creating a design square by square is a huge stress reliever that leads to the wonderful reward of being able to say you made something beautiful!

In 1997, my brother and I were both working in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. I was answering 911 emergency calls and he was working for a tech company. We both decided it was time to start our own business. Because I was an avid cross stitcher and I had difficulty finding supplies locally, we thought it would be a great idea to start selling on the internet. At the time, you really couldn’t find any cross stitch online, and we decided to change that. And boy did we ever! Starting from my one bedroom apartment, we ventured into the world of online crafting supplies and never looked back. We moved from that one bedroom apartment, to the garage of a house, to an office condo in Utah, and now to our very own building in Lewisville, Texas.

In that time, we set the standard with our renowned exceptional customer service, and made our vision of everyday low prices and fast shipping into a reality. We made many friends in the crafting community and established ourselves as THE place to buy cross stitch. I always get a kick out of meeting people that tell me they love 123Stitch and tell all of their friends about us.
