I stitched the cardinal for a Christmas project for a friend but left out all the background motives except for a couple of snowflakes. The finished product looks stunning!

I bought this lovely pattern to stitch for my fiance's parents following the death of their eldest son, Ricky. They collect cardinals & I thought it would be a lovely reminder of Ricky.

Unfortunately thats the bad side of buying on the web. You cant see the entire chart and directions. This pattern has a ton of over one stitching. I dont mind some but I dont think I would have purchased this one if I had known the amount stitching on 32 count.

Had an issue with the smaller symbols and how it was suppose to be stitched. Otherwise, the pattern is so beautiful.

I have not had a chance to start on this yet but the pattern looks very easy to read and should would up quickly. I like that there are 2 different borders that can be stitched....I may have to do the both!
