This cuddly creature is perched peacefully on a gumtree branch. It pairs beautifully with part 2, the Sugar Glider, who also rests on a gumtree branch, making them a sweet duo in your stitching journey through the Australian treetops.

Pattern is stitched on 40 count Legacy linen by Picture This Plus using Classic Colorworks and DMC floss. Each part in the series has a stitch area of 100 W x 130 H. Finished size for just the Koala is 5" X 6.5".

Total stitch count for the whole series is 310 W x 535 H (with a 5-stitch gap between parts). Finished size for the entire series is 15.5" X 26.75".

I received The Koala pattern on September 2nd and began stitching it that very day. Though there are only a few colors used in it, I am thoroughly enjoying every stitch. I completed stitching the koala’s face and it is so cute! This is the first Cottage Garden Samplings pattern I have stitched and I know that it won’t be the last!
