The Welcome to the Forest series consists of 7 designs that will be released consecutively for 7 months. The first design, Forest Banner, is larger than the rest and has a stitch count of 121w x 67h. Each of the other 6 designs has a stitch count of 59w x 67h. There will also be a free border pattern available from the Country Cottage website. If the entire series is stitched together with the border, as shown, it has a stitch count of 135w x 295h. Also, if you are stitching the series together you will leave 3 stitches between each of the blocks.

The fabric used for the models is Wichelt's 32 count Lambswool Linen. The designs also use the same threads throughout. If all of the designs are stitched, a total of this many skeins of floss will be needed: Classic Colorworks' Snowball (3), Jolly Holly (3), Hazelnut (2), Really Teally (2), and Blushing Beauty (1). DMC: 367, 646, 648, 738, 744, 838, 840, 842, 869, 891, 3031, 3341.
