To be perfectly honest, I haven't started on this project yet because I need to finish another one and I don't like too much going on at once. I will begin it after Christmas. That seems appropriate to me because this is called "Winter Welcome". I have looked over the chart at length and it will be interesting to stitch not too difficult or complicated, but hard enough to grab and hold my attention. Since my decorating style is fairly primitive, I often stitch pictures of houses and small villages. I love the quiet colors of this piece and the fact that it is not "Christmas-y". Where I live, winter goes on long after the decorations are down. Stitching this project gives me something to look forward to doing at a time of the year that is usually hard for me.
