The new 6-strand divisible thread is will add an irresistible effect to your next work of art. Each skein measures 8 meters in length. Etoile stitches up the same as 117 Embroidery Floss. It is ideal to create a subtle shimmer on cross-stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, punch needle, counted canvas and any needlework or craft project. Colors coordinate seamlessly with Article 117 and use the same color numbers.

Make no mistake this thread is absolutely gorgeous, and if you could use a highlight of sparkle in a piece- and who doesn't!- I absolutely recommend it. Just be aware this line of thread is a little bit trickier to use then the other DMC lines, its quite fluffy.

Oh wow. This floss is so gorgeous! I think I'll be buying more of it as I find out where to put it for that certain sparkle on my projects. The black looks like the night sky with stars shining. Beautiful.

I love the sparkle in the Mouline Etoile, and also that the metallic thread feels smooth on my fingers and glides through my fabric.

I am working on a Halloween cross stitch project and wanted to add something different to the pattern. I used the black Mouline Etoile thread for the black cats. It looks like their fur is shimmering and really makes the pattern pop. Try it, you will love it.

Mouline Etoile Embroidery Thread is wonderful and soft. After using two strands over two 18ct Aida, as back stitching- it is wonderful. Have almost all the shades. Will buy more.

This is a very soft thread. It's black with navy blue spec's. It gives you subtle sheen. Very easy to work with.
