I don’t mind using this but I find it likes to split. I prefer a Krienik petite braid but you can’t find it right now.

There is no other way to describe Light Effects Glow in the Dark Floss: it's just plain cool. The glow is surprisingly bright once exposed to light, an unusual addition to my cross stitch. It glows white, and I'm sufficiently impressed to want to try the other colors it is available in. I've made gifts for friends, but didn't mention the light effects. I'm going to let them discover this for themselves. It's not difficult to use, it does shred a bit, but nothing like the metallics, so I enjoyed working with it. Give it a try. I guarentee you won't be disappointed.

I am excited to see the glow in the dark effects (can't tell yet), but I find it hard to stitch with. This does not surprise me because most threads like this are. The only thing that frustrates me is that it keeps unthreading from the needle. One strand doubled up turns into 4 fine strands which slip out of the needle easily and are difficult to re-thread.

Used this thread in a piece I sent my finisher. Forgot to tell her it glowed in the dark. Was she surprised when she turned out the lights for the night and saw a glow on her workbench.

This really does glow in the dark! It can be a bit difficult to stitch with if one has dry skin (will snag). Requires a bit of patience but is worth it.

Ordered for a Halloween project and it works great. Consistency is different than other 6-strand floss, takes time to adjust.

This is a fun thread to stitch with. It has a different consistency than other DMC threads; at first it takes a little time to get used to, but so long as I'm careful, it's quite easy to use.

This really does glow well. It glides through the fabric well but it does not lie as evenly as regular cotton floss and splits easily. Stitches do not look as neat as I would like, but the glow factor is pretty cool! Used for a moon!

I was working on an art piece that included a glow-in-the-dark element. I bought a 6-pack of DMC thread from another source but ran out before finishing the project. Then I found 123 Stitch, which sent the thread pronto, and all was well. One thing to know is that this floss's strands want to untwist. That wasn't important to my project, but it might be to others'.

The floss arrived in perfect condition. A note if you're planning to use it it is harder to work with. It's stretchier than normal floss and tangles/snarls very easily, both of which make things more difficult than normal. But it glows very well and made a cool effect on my project!

I am using this product for the moon in the Nighttime Butterfly pattern. It really does glow in the dark. I'm doing this pattern for my 4 year old grandniece and I am excited to hear what she will think. I use seventh heaven with and it does help with the fraying and the snagging. You do have to be careful with it. It does snag easily but if you have patience it will add interest to your pattern.

It did not work for my purposes. I wanted to outline a few objects in the piece I was stitching. The outlines did NOT glow in the dark. Maybe you need to fill in a bigger area for it to glow for outlining purposes it did not work. It was a total waste for my needs.

This flos is marvelous for Halloween cross stitch. It glows in the dark and is amazing for the spooky stuff, such as ghosts and skulls! Oooooo!

I used this floss in my punchneedle project, and while it is a softer floss than the 100 cotton floss, the glow in the dark effect is wonderful! Very happy with my Halloween witch's GITD hair, eye, and teeth.
