I, like the other reviewer, purchased this kit because of the beautiful color combination and the unique flower design. But the kit leaves a lot to be desired. The Aida fabric has been folded for so long that the creases are permanent even after soaking in water. I used fabric from my own stash. The floss is not DMC and while it has a nice sheen it is of an inferior quality. The colors on-line and in the package photo are not the same. Anything that looks rust colored is actually a Christmas red. The bird on the package photo is a teal blue but what you stitch looks closer to the jade green in the on-line photo. The beads are an absolute throw away; much too large, made of plastic, all black - just plain cheap. I will purchase appropriate Mill Hill beads when I get to that stage. I’ve finished the bird and am on to the flowers. So far I am pleased with the look. The chart is easy enough to read. But the manufacturer needs to know that when you’re going to put weeks/months of work into a project you want quality supplies even if the cost is higher. I plan to finish this design but would not buy from this designer again.

The beautiful colors of this pattern is what made me notice it first, then the shapes of the flowers and all the colors involved in them. It's a fun pattern to do, too.
