This chart is so very special to me that I wasn't sure if I would ever release it. It was designed by my youngest daughter when she was just 10yrs old. My sweet girl was going through a very tough time in her life and when she showed me her design it brought me to tears because I knew that she was going to be ok in spite of her trauma.
These ruby slippers embody resilience and untapped potential. They are a statement made with a positive yet silent projection of fortitude, integrity, and the internal power to overcome. My daughter is 15 now and although she is still healing, I have watched in amazement as she transformed from a scared little girl to a confident young woman.
She is my Hero.
The pattern is stitched on 42 ct fabric using DMC floss. Stitch count is 143 x 101. Finished size on 40 ct is 7.2" x 5.1".
