This pattern was originally designed to use with MODA's Honeybun precuts and was re-released with a different fabric collection due to its popularity. It is a perfect pattern to use with any grouping of 1 1/2" strips! I have always been fascinated with these traditional stars that are so abundant in our historical quilts and this project gave me a perfect opportunity to design one of my own. Our signature star method doesn't use any templates or "y" seams and each block is simply strip pieced and assembled as an 8 part star. Don't miss out on these great stars block that looks so much more complicated than they really are. Wonderful in brights, reproduction fabrics or our Fig Tree fabrics...of course.
