Prewound MonoPoly bobbins are made from polyester not nylon. MonoPoly monofilament has a reduced sheen, is heat resistant iron and dryer safe (both on medium heat), will not become brittle over time, will not discolor, it is strong with low stretch, stays soft and pliable.
