This one is going to be a gift for the holidays. I'm still working on it, but I'm finally on the backstitching (which has always been the bane of my existence in the world of x-stitch!) I have to say that with all the 1/4 stitches, this was incredibly aggravating on Aida, so I stopped and switched to 28 count Lugana which made those stitches easier. I love the design, but in my old age have decided to try and find patterns with only full stitches and more colorful! I have also decided to remove the rest of this series from my Wishlist, LOL. Don't get me wrong, I love the pattern, just not the quarter stitches!

Love these Mary Engelbreit "dark" themed patterns which I would call whimsical and actually, quite true! The pattern is simple but so much fun to work and, of course, you could add your own touch quite easily!
