These quick Janlynn plastic canvas kits are so easy to do, with clear instructions. I have done so many over the years and have never once run out of thread.

I enjoy stitching these cute snowmen ornaments. They stitch up quick and are easy to do. some of the newer kits do not have the same wire in them as the originals but white chenille stems works well if you don't care for the wire provided. Another reviewer noted that there is no backing material provided. I use white felt and overcast it on when I do the edging. Very easy. All-in-all a fun project.

The wire in the package is silver not white as listed and shown on the package. Very disappointing. Emailed Janlynn who said that was the old company and to buy at JoAnn's. I don't do JoAnn's due to numerous problems trying to use their coupons. If you want as pictured you will need to buy your own white wire.

While the product advertised that it comes with everything you need for finishing, it does not. You are left with an exposed back. Not a great giveaway unless you buy your own materials for finishing. When calling 1-2-3 Stitch about this, I was punted to Jannlynn who I could never get a live person to answer. After a few days, Jannlynn punted me back to 1-2-3 Stitch who opened the kit at their end, realized what I was talking about and said, "well, the wire hanger is the finishing. You shouldn't expect more than that." I was only assuming "finishing" entailed some backing to cover exposed stitches, that's all. Not in these kits.
