Even though this was the called for metallic floss on the pattern, it was way too much. I think a standard DMC in a close match color for bottom leg and top leg in the #8 would work. I went with that method but used Petite Treasure Braid in a similar gold tone and it was perfect for the fabric count.

I ordered the wrong size. Needed #4 braid. My mistake but I will add to my stash for a future project.
