Mill Hill kit featuring a happy bumblebee! The kit includes 14 Ct. perforated paper/pvc, beads, floss, needles and instructions. The finished size is 2.5" x 2.75".
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

I bought this whole series to stitch and put on my “bee†wall. What a wonderful surprise when I received them that they are all beads. I can’t wait until after Christmas to be able to stitch them.

I love these all beaded designs. They’re fun to make and easy. I made 3 flowers and this bee and made a little “garden†for my friend. She loved it.
