This Autumn themed Mill Hill beaded kit features two foxes in the forest.
Kit Includes: Beads, JABC button, perforated paper/pvc, floss, needles, chart and instructions. Finished Size: 5.25" x 5.25".
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

This kit is very cute, however the perforated paper was stuck to the cover picture which pulled some of the green paint off. I don't think it will be visible once finished but something to note.

The perforated paper was stuck to the directions and when when I took the directions off the paper it pulled the color off the paper.

I wanted to give this five stars. However, I ran out of three different thread colors while stitching. I am a former model stitcher so I was quite surprised that I ran into this problem. This is a colorful and beautiful picture, and I love the design.
