You can customize the doll by replacing the flag area with either a quilting pattern or cross stitch pattern of their own making to create an "Early American stitching lady" version of the Betsy doll. Pillow contruction how-to's included.

Pattern is stitched on 28 ct Light Mocha using DMC, Weeks Dye Works, and Gentle Arts threads. Stitch count is 113 x 187.
