The motifs I'ved used in Gardens of Saxony are drawn from the large German antique sampler I reproduced, CRS 1713. Note from the designer: It started with the request to teach at Shepherd's Bush and the theme was garden. My brain went to our love of samplers and flowers. I envisioned alphabets dancing in the garden. There will be one for each season for a total of four different charts.
