I fell in love with the vases in the antique version of Ellen's sampler, and decided to incorporate them into this design. Who says a vase has to be filled? The little hunter on the antique sampler shows him with his hunting dog, but Miss Pilkington has her little cottage dog as her loyal companion.

Stitched on 36 ct. Milk & Honey by Fiber on a Whim with Weeks Dye Works, Classic Colorworks, The Gentle Arts, and DMC floss. Stitch count is 116 x 98 and the finished size is 6.44" x 5.44".
