Cross Stitch Pattern

Hearts Entwined was originally dreamed up while planning my own wedding sampler. I have included instructions for modifying the design to be used as a wedding or anniversary sampler.

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct Light Examplar using Gloriana and Needlepoint Silk threads with DMC conversion. Stitch count is 177 x 273.

This antique sampler is inspired by a french designer with Christian imagery.

The model was stitched on 36 count Summer Khaki linen from Zweigart, with 1 ply of Weeks Dye Works Hand Dyed Cottons. Stitch count is 260 x 171 with a finished size of 14.44" x 9.5".

Cross stitch pattern from Bent Creek featuring a lovely sampler with the alphabet and hearts!

The pattern is stitched on 32 ct Platinum from Weeks Dye Works using Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works with DMC Conversions. Stitch count is 36 x 96. Finished size is 2.25 in wide X 6 in high.

Model is stitched on 36 count Vintage Meadow Rue using Gentle Arts and Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch Count: 193W x 181H.

Model stitched two over two on 32 Ct. Chocolate Milk from Fabrics by Stephanie using Weeks Dye Works. Stitch Count: 145W x 55H. Design Size: 9" x 3"

Pattern by Long Dog Samplers featuring hearts, birds, and the words, "The roots of a family begin with the love of two hearts."

Model stitched on fabric of your choice with DMC floss or Gentle Art Sampler threads. Stitch Count: 153 x 197 and the finished size is 10.93" x 14.07" on 28 count.

This chart was orignially released at Nashville in 2020 and used with the 3 Classic Colorworks thread colors Lighthouse, Chesapeake Bay, and Mariner's Compass. Stitch count is 59 x 83. We recommend 32 count Smoky Pearl linen from Wichelt to complement the three Classic Colorworks threads!

"Adorn your heart, adorn your mind with knowledge of the sweetest king." Models stitched on 36 Ct. Hogbristle by Fox and Rabbit Designs with DMC floss, Weeks Dye Works and Classic Colors floss. Stitch counts: Sampler - 220W x 167H, Pincushion - 61W x 69H.

This design from Long Dog Samplers features three Queens, birds, flowers and more - all worked in blue.

Pattern is stitched on the Aida or linen of your choice using the threads of your choice! Stitch count is 157 x 197.

Stitched on 32 Ct. Dirty Belfast Linen with Weeks Dye Works and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Stitch Count: 41W x 41H. Design Size: 3" x 3"

Pattern is stitched on 36 count neutral colored linen using DMC, Weeks Dye Works and Classic Colorworks floss. Stitch counts are 87w x 82h and 63w x 62h. Finished sizes are 4.8" x 4.6" and 3.5" x 3.44" on 36 count fabric.

I get a lot of requests to do smaller designs. I do try, but often the designs grow with my imagination. However, on occasion I force myself to behave! Sweet Hearts is a fun little monochrome design done mostly in cross stitch with a few little Rhodes stitches thrown in for some texture.

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct Latte using Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works, and Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch count is 190 x 242.

This pattern was stitched on 36 ct Dead Sea Scroll by Seraphim Fabrics. Finished Size: 7.75" x 7.75" and Stitch Count: 140 x 140. This piece was stitched with silk threads, introducing the stitcher also to some Silk Lame by Rainbow Gallery.

This original design was inspired by many antique samplers.

Model stitched on 14 Ct. Aida in the color of your choice with DMC floss. Stitch Count: 23 x 27. Finished size: 1.64" x 1.93".

Model stitched two over two on 30 Ct. Linen using Classic Colorworks and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Farm House Design is 75H x 75W. Sampler Size is: 5" x 5 2/3". If the entire series is stitched on one piece, the stitch count is 387W x 261H. Finished size is: 26 6/8" x 17 1/2".

Note: to achieve the variegated look of Fool's Gold use DMC 833/371.
