For this designer: I really wanted to capture one of my favorite seasonal blooms in a biscornu format. There's a lot of stitching in this, but the results came out just the way I'd hoped and I love the dramatic effect.
The model is stitched on 32 count linen using Weeks Dye Works, Classic Colorworks and DMC floss. Stitch count for each one is 102 x 102. Finished size is 6.38" x 6.38".
This design uses a lot of thread (depending on the fabric count) but on 32 count, stitching with 2 threads requires 3 skeins of Queen Anne's Lace and 2 skeins each of 3346, Seaweed, Sockeye, Tennessee Red Clay and Rose Petal.
