This is a truly lovely design with a lovely sentiment taken from a Shakespeare sonnet. DMC conversions are included if you do not wish to use silk threads. The design is stitched on 32 ct linen and is 26" in length. That being the case, you will probably want to purchase 32 ct linen that is at least 30 inches long. The sampler was created primarily to be a commemorative piece with many symbolic motifs that the designer explains. There are elaborate decorative stitches in the design, but the charts and diagrams are large, detailed and easy to understand. I would think anyone who has completed one or two cross stitch projects would be able to handle this one. I expect to enjoy it very much.

Having some difficulty with stitching one of the trees. Not finding those instructions very helpful but will get help from the guild.
