Note from the designer - Celebrate your love of the sea with this small sewing case and accompanying scissors weight. Lovely mermaids grace both pieces. A ship and a lighthouse are on the back of the case. Inside is a pocket, two heart-shaped thread rings, and a wool needlepage in the shape of a seahorse.
The model was stitched on 32 Ct. Sea Storm from Lakeside Linens with silk threads from Classic Colorworks, Gloriana, Needlepoint Inc and The Thread Gatherer. DMC conversions are provided.
Stitches used: backstitch, colonial knot, cross stitch, cross stitch over one linen thread and tent stitch. Stitching directions, charts, stitch diagrams, and detailed assembly instructions are included.
