Note from the designer - Celebrate your love of the sea with this small sewing case and accompanying scissors weight. Lovely mermaids grace both pieces. A ship and a lighthouse are on the back of the case. Inside is a pocket, two heart-shaped thread rings, and a wool needlepage in the shape of a seahorse.
The model was stitched on 32 Ct. Sea Storm from Lakeside Linens with silk threads from Classic Colorworks, Gloriana, Needlepoint Inc and The Thread Gatherer.
Stitches used: backstitch, colonial knot, cross stitch, cross stitch over one linen thread and tent stitch. Stitching directions, charts, stitch diagrams, and detailed assembly instructions are included.
