This is a very nice set of 6 laying tools. I am giving a few away for Christmas gifts, the others for birthdays and one for me. A great value and very well made.

I have used a laying tool on and off for over 20 years. Initially, it was always a trolley needle. But about 7 years ago I acquired a wooden laying tool as a bonus gift for something I ordered. It was a revelation. So much easier to use. But in the last year it was lost. As soon as I discovered it was gone I began looking for a replacement. Not an easy task - until I found these. They are terrific! They are polished and well-tooled, allowing the thread or braid or yarn or whatever you happen to be using to slide off into place smoothly. They are also light weight and fit well in hand. While the picture shows all of them with fine tips, the set I received had varying tip dimensions. The fine tips on several of them are perfect for working on small count fabrics I frequently work on 28 count fabric using 2 threads while the heavier ones work well in getting Persian wool to lay neatly on Penelope canvas. All in all, a great product and a very good purchase.

These wood laying tools are great. Make your needlework look super. With a set of 6, I will have an extra one, which will be great! Besides, they look beautiful also. Recommend these for yourself or will make a wonderful gift!
