Christmas will be here before we know it! This small design features a cozy village at nighttime, with a church in the middle, perhaps sleeping and waiting for Santa! Let us all hope and pray for peace for this ol' world, both now and during the holiday season.
A perfect design to stitch this time of year as we reflect on the changing landscape. While the seasons change, we can rest knowing our Father in Heaven never does. "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:3"

The inspiration for these four little biscornus was a piece of cotton fabric that was being used to make a project bag. I loved the geometric design and bold color scheme and knew I needed to create a cross stitch pattern from it.
Model stitched on 32 ct Christmas Red Belfast linen and Black Belfast linen using DMC threads. Stitch count: each biscornu is 39 x 39.

This design is called "Happiness" and it weirdly/oddly/strangely/a little bit is a self portrait. Feeding all the wild animals in my back yard brings me such joy. And while I don't have squirrels climbing up my skirts, they are starting to recognize me when I'm outside feeding them!

In the middle of a cold Winter and longing for a sunshiny day under the apple blossom, I designed this piece to remind me of happier days ahead. Decorating the tree has always been one of my favorite Christmas moments - pulling out ornaments that remind me of long-ago holidays, and of cherished family members and friends. I hope this little piece brings you some Christmas cheer and happy memories too.
Reproduced from a teeny-tiny, antique, petit-point picture from Prague (say that 10 times fast!), this charming scene is reminiscent of Delft tiles. The calming colorway and the gentle landscape subject were such a pleasure to stitch and to inspire some moments of rest. I hope stitching it brings... Read more
