I didn't expect much from something this inexpensive, but I thought they would at least cut thread. These are remarkably terrible, and I am probably going to give up and throw them in the garbage. What a waste of money, time, metal and plastic.

not as I hoped to be able to snip close to work, had to go far up the blades and then they didn't clip. Hard to cut 6 strands from skein, not sharp enough

Took too long to get and when I did get them they can’t even cut through 5 strings at once

Love these snips, they make cutting floss a breeze. The pointy tips make it easy to get a really close cut in the smallest spaces, too. I don't think the finger hole is needed or desired, but it doesn't get in my way.

Today I am attending my needlework group. Members do all kinds of needlework. I am gifting my friends with the snips and a Swedish woven towel. They will be used often I am sure. They are small to carry along and quite useful. jc
