from United States on 04/20/2024 Monaco has become an evenweave that I use frequently. Particularly when stitching Stitching With The Housewives Designs. Priscilla Blain has always recommended Monaco for her designs. I tried it and I like it very much. I have used black, white and tea dyed. However, it is very stiff. I a stitcher likes soft fabric it is not for them. Stitches look nice on Monaco and it does well when finishing. Works well for roundabouts and ornaments. I use a Bohin 28 needle when stitching on Monaco.

from United States on 12/09/2015 - the beauty of simplicity I love working with 100 cotton eveneweave. I prefer plain fabric because I don't want distractions from my stitching. I prefer to offset my stitching with the matting and frame.
