awesome thread. using both 4 and 2 strand embroidery, the texture does get a little sharp when doing cross-stitching. so it wouldn't be the best for things you want to touch (pillows, etc). but for my project, it was beautiful. also a little hard to work with. need to use shorter pieces. but worth it in the end.

Color is great, very sparkly and "true" gold (not green). A little hard to stitch with because the threads tend to unravel or tangle up on themselves.

Hint to stop fraying at end, a drop of "fray-check" on the end, which is allowed to completely dry before using, will make life more easy. It helps not to make the tread too long, I keep it under 15 inches.

The product is fine, but it is a metallic thread and still behaves that way with it quick to unravel and knot. I wonder if beeswax would help.

Love how it looks in my project. The sparkle really gives the project a better look that is better than the finish of regular thread. S/H is very fair and quick turn around. Love this Site!

Never ever again will I use metallic thread by DMC. I would rather spend more money on Kreinik.

I love the look of this, but it is not easy to stitch with. The strands are very, very stiff and tangle extremely easily.

This is great stuff! Doesn't catch on everything like the metaklic threads, but gives stitches a definite metallic look.

This particular thread was under another number on the patterns I had. I didn't know what to replace it with until I spoke with 123 stitch on the phone. When I call there is always someone very helpful to give assistance. Great company.

Whenever I need anything cross stitch related, I go straight to 123. I always use DMC for my projects and since I live in the country, they always have what I need and ship it out very quickly.
