from United States on 03/03/2021 - an unfavorable review I ordered this kit a month ago and as usual it arrived promptly and in good order. But when I went to start on it I discovered it is VERY user unfriendly. The thread is unsorted and listed on the instructions only by a color name which is not sufficiently distinctive to distinguish them all, especially in the pale tones. Also there is no count of the number of threads of each color to help in deciding difficult cases. I'm not even sure that all the kinds of thread are present...I suspect one is missing...partly because in some cases I'm not sure if two strands are separable or not. Because the threads seem to be some sort of house brand it is not possible to compare them against a DMC listing and gain a clue that way.
Complete kit includes 27 Ct. ivory evenweave fabric, chart, sorted threads, needles, and instructions. Finished size: 14" x 18". This beautiful picture created by the Egyptian/Italian painter Maher Morcos, uses colour, light and shade in a sublime manner. The special printed background and the rich colours in the foreground create a most striking design.
