I really enjoyed doing this kit. Loved the sturdy wood its made of. The thread gradient created a beautiful finished piece. Pattern was clear, floss was separated and numbered with holders. Will definitely buy again. This one is a gift.

Love my new pin cushion

This pin cushion is like the tomato I learned to sew with decades ago with the strawberry (always thought this was a pepper) for sharpening needles, but smaller, which is exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly in my little sewing box of stuff I use a lot. I am sort of surprised by how much I like this new pin cushion given the price. The one they sent was blue and I happened to have just purchased new straight pins with blue heads.

Beautiful but difficult

This is a beautifully Christmas piece but is quite difficult to stitch. It is definatly not for a beginner. (I have been stitching for years and years). I have had to pull this out more times than I care to admit, I finally just started over. I have my eye on more of this artists patterns tho.

I had never tried a Mill Hill kit and was worried about how fragile it might be to work on it just holding it. This frame works great to hold the perforated paper.

Sweetie, just started House of Peacocks. Will let you know how it goes. So far, so good. The photo is of Long Dog’s The Foley Tree which I really enjoyed doing , but did find some of the black areas a bit difficult 🥴. Made some changes. Love Long Dog. Ann S. In CA🌹❤️🥰

The example shown in the photo is stitched with some hand-dyed threads. The DMC substitutions are adequate, but you might be disappointed in the colors.

These were tricky until I figured out each pattern. The colors are similar and when you stand back you see the subtle differences. I was worried that I’d run out of floss and they judged it perfectly.

Unique Ornament

This was a very challenging ornament to make! The fact that it's wood makes it a little difficult to work with. My main struggle was with the needle, which got pinched and eventually broken going through the narrow holes. I had to do most of the stitching with the beading needle. But once it was finished, it was beautiful. It was also nice to have the felt backing already cut. As difficult as it was, I liked it enough to order several more kits.

I have just started stitching banner across the top. I decided not to use the called for WDW Cattail for the white. Too dingy. I am using CCW Khaki Mocha instead. Border is tricky. Pay attention to stitches. Don’t think you have it memorized.

I finally gave in and ordered Ale for my One Nation project. All three colors pop nicely, especially the white. Decided to use 36ct so I could stitch 1 over 2.

Wooden Tulips

I absolutely loved stitching these tulips. So much so that I have since ordered all the other wooden flowers. Very easy to stitch, the wood is very smooth, the holes are perfectly drilled, I had no trouble with thread getting hung up. Included is a pretty little stand that the finished product sits on. It’s perfect!

Bought this adorable kit to make for my new grand baby and I am so much enjoying working on it. It will take awhile to finish as there is a lot of detail. It was nice to have the strands of thread presorted on the card so could easily tell what the colors were as there are several shades that are very similar. Excited to get this completed!
