This pin caddy is useful when preparing cross stitch fabric for a new project. The weight helps to hold tape measures, fabric, etc in place while measuring, finding the start point, etc. The top pins are easy to access. I probably wont use the bottom pin storage often, however, as the provided top pins are sufficient for my fabric preparation needs. I have different pins/set up for pinning finished cross stitch pieces for framing.
