This Mill Hill beaded kit features a haunted cottage on a dark Halloween night.

While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

I love these kits and the beading needles are the best!
All the little details in the picture start to appear as you stitch. No pictures can show you the bling from this design.
This little kit was the perfect gift!
I had a problem with the perforated paper from this kit and contacted 123. A couple of weeks later, I received a new piece in the mail from Wichelt.
Since I had to use my own perforated paper in order to make the gift on time, I now have a perfect piece to do one for myself! So even with the paper problem, I still have to give this a 5. Well worth the time and money.

This is a perfect starter kit for anyone who enjoys beading. everything is in the kit except the frame of course! no need to run around looking for that special button or bead colors! LOVE IT!

I love this kit. Quick to complete, so almost instant gratification. The colors are lovely. I purchased frame to go with it. Disappointed it didn’t come with glazier points to secure into frame, but purchased separately.
