Hand painted, matte blue solid color glassless wooden frame with a 6" x 6" opening. 8" x 8" outside measurement.

This is an open frame (glass and backing board not included), and perfect for designs stitched on perforated paper or mounted on foam core board (or similar). Insert your finished Mill Hill picture or mounted stitched design and it's ready to hang - or you can use the included peg for a beautiful stand up display.

First off: 123 did a wonderful job, and my overseas delivery arrived in just over 14 days. They deserve 5 stars for that! On the other hand, I'm disappointed with Mill Hill: I don't know what they were thinking. For me, a backing board (not a thin cardboard without mounting option) is an essential part of a frame. Instead, they included a piece of wood that I have no idea what to do with. At least some instructions would have been nice. The price is exorbitant for what it is. You can find better frames for less money everywhere.Otherwise, I am always very satisfied with Mill Hill pictures.

I bought this frame for the Mill Hill Cappuccino chart and it is perfect for it. I was disappointed to find it does not include points to keep the piece in. I will purchase another one for the espresso chart and a point driver kit.

Really love the frame, but was a bit surprised to see that there is no system included to keep the back in place. Apparently one has to figure out their own closing method.

I purchased this frame to finish the Mill Hill Lighthouse kit. It was the frame used in the kit photo. The deion didn't indicate whether the frame included the glass or not. A previous frame I had purchased DID come with the glass. This frame DID NOT come with the glass. So, I had to make a trip to the local Lowes store to have a glass cut. I always want glass over a stitched piece of artwork for protection. It looked amazing after assembled!

Ordered the 6x6 frame as I needed to frame an item that is 6x6. I needed the entire 6x6 opening. The frame is actually 5 1/2 x5 1/2. The inside frame size should be corrected. The actual frame is perfect, just not the stated size.

I was surprised to find that this frame has a 3/16" dark white line around the inside and outside edges of the frame. In the picture it looks gray and I hadn't increase the size of the picture so I missed that before ordering. However, the frame is ok for the project I did and good quality.

Well-made frame. Of course they fit the Mill Hill bead kits perfectly since they are made especially for them. The frames would work for all kinds of pictures. I always add glass as I like to protect my projects from dust and dirt. cjh
