When I picked out this pattern I was looking for something I could stitch on an afghan for a wedding shower gift. I didn't realize that there were beads in the pattern and I have never stitched with beads before. I wasn't sure the size would be the same as I can see that the holes in the 18ct afghan material I have are smaller/tighter than those in say, my 18ct linen. I emailed the designer and she was quick to respond to me initially, but when I asked about the size of the beads (as she initially said "petite") for the afghan, she asked me to send her a picture of the material. I have done that now 3 times,and am still waiting on an answer. I have no idea what size of the beads to order and am getting closer by the day to when the gift needs to be sent (as I live out of state). The design is beautiful, and I am sure it will be even more so once I finish,but need the correct beads to do that. I suppose to someone used to stitching with beads, this design is perfect and would deserve a full 5 stars. My 3 stars are based on the response of the designer, not 123Stitch.
