The custom dyed threads often are out of stock (on this and other websites) so I looked into the "wool" version. Unless you need a LOT of thread, I really like the wool version b/c it gives a more textured version of the custom dyed threads. It is one strand like most of the customs but a bit more "furry" than the other versions of custom dyed. Actually, I am glad that the color was out of stock so it made me try something else (that I normally would not have tried, yet like very much). I will look toward the wool thread regularly, sometimes using normal and sometims wool! Hope you love the options too. (Has a nice "feel" to it:)

I used this to long stitch and cross stitch on perforated paper a Victorian motto. It did a beautiful job! Never knotted or tangled. Lovely to work with. Also, I had to reorder more of the green more than six months after I started this project. The color was dead on. I expect to use this a lot more.
