I have used the Truecut and it really does make cutting easier. Ultimately I was glad I got it but there was one thing I disliked: The color. The one I odered was pictured as gray with red and black trim, which is okay with me. The one I received was blue. I really dislike anything in blue. After reaching out to 123Stitch as well as The Grace Company I found out it only comes in blue now. It seems to me that they'd offer it in multiple colors because crafters/sewers/quilters love color! And since the majority of sewers/quilters are women I am surprised its not offered in other colors such as pink. The handle even offers a removable piece so you can customize it, so it would seem like the makers would realize that if a person wanted to customize it by adding their name or a cute fabric or paper piece that they'd also see where multiple colors would be a good idea!!
