from United States on 07/08/2024 - Excellently Drawn I have looked fruitlessly for a well-drawn realistic cross-stitch rendition of a lighthouse but have been unimpressed with all of the patterns I have found...until I came across Tidewater Originals. The drawings are realistic and to scale and the cross-stitch patterns' directions, which include a higher thread count than 14, means the work-up of the pattern will look really nice, particularly on my preferred linen fabric. I looked for the creator of these patterns online but found only her obituary. Apparently, she created these patterns about 50 years ago. I'm glad they're still for sale. They are a lovely momento of my memories of traveling to beaches up and down the East Coast.
from United States on 01/24/2023 I love lighthouses and these work up quickly and look really nice, for being small well detailed.

from United States on 02/06/2014 - book missing info on a whole the book is a beautiful book with good detailed graphs of light houses hard to find. But the book does not indicate the number ofthreads to us when reproducing them. For someone who has not done xstitching it may have been hard to determine this.
