This block of the month quilt was originally made with our Liberty Gatherings fabric line for Moda. The quilt will finish at 76" X 76". This a wool and appliqued with piecing quilt. 5yds of fabric is needed for the backing. This pattern has instruction for two quilts which are made using lots of dark, medium, and light charm squares. The little one was just leftover blocks from the larger one. The larger one finishes at 3`" x 35 1/2" and the smaller one is 12 1/2" square. Originally from the Little Gatherings Book. Redwork Gatherings is a small but timeless quilt that uses the main Redwork panel, small shoo fly blocks and a fun pieced outer border. The quilt is 57" x 74" and is the perfect combination of piecing and hand stitching.

The fabric requirements are generous - enough to give you flexibility. Or make the quilt a little bit bigger. . . . a nice option if you like to snuggle on the couch with someone.
