Pattern for a 51" x 64" Quilt

A basket sampler quilt inspired by fabrics and design from the 1830's to 1840's. The original quilt is pieced from the Sarah's Story Collection by Betsy Chutchian for Moda fabrics. Named for Sarah Hale, an author, poet and editor of Godey's Lady's Book for 40 years.

This 66" x 74" lap quilt features the fabric line "Bleu de France" by French General for Moda. The design is reminiscent of a blended quilt where one fabric flows into the other. It is a perfect setting for these gorgeous fabrics.

Inspired by cross stitch samplers of days gone by, the Hometown Holiday Sampler by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet hits all the right notes.
