Living in Texas, where fall doesn't really show up, I have fond memories of my time living in Michigan where fall actually brought a change of seasons. This was created with those memories and feelings in mind. "Autumn, Crisp blustery days and cozy snuggly nights"
Fall is such a fun time of year and it includes so many things I love. This is my fun take on the transition that happens as we move through the season. In designing this piece, I wanted something can stay up all the way thru Halloween.
Pattern is stitched on 46ct Topaz by Fiber on a Whim using Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works, and DMC threads. Stitch Count 375 x 100.

When stitched on 40 count fabric, using one strand of floss over two fabric threads, the design area will measure 4.15" H x 3.95" W for each motif. Pattern is stitched on 40 ct Linen using DMC floss. Stitch count is 83 H x 79 W for each motif.
The models are stitched on 36 count Vintage Country Mocha linen. Stitch with one ply of thread over 2 linen threads.
