Charm square (5") friendly! This fun quilt uses at least 338 charm squares - a minimum of 9 charm packs depending on your assortment of lights and darks! More is always better! The best part of this particular pattern is that it is just four-patches and flying geese. Finished size is 75" x 75".
The fabric requirements are generous - enough to give you flexibility. Or make the quilt a little bit bigger. . . . a nice option if you like to snuggle on the couch with someone.
Take one stack of charm squares - the more varied the better! Add a stack of brightly colored backgrounds - solids, near-solids, cross weaves, or chambray. Start making Monkey Wrench blocks without any clear destination in mind. Hope for the bet and have a whole lot of fun in the process!
